Giant sausage sizzle money will go to a particular charity, possibly a different one each year. 2010’s may aid the bushfire or floods appeals.

Security / Health.
Posted in Uncategorized on May 27, 2009 by loamsdown17Security:
The reliable services of Chubb security will be required. The event will not be over age so the serving of alcohol will be professional and well monitered. Obviously security will cover all entries and exits, and strive to have no area not under surveillance. Security will also regulate the crowds at the music areas, any wreckless behaviour will not be tolerated.
Health:
St. John’s Ambulance are renowned for their work at music gigs and festivals. They will be required to deal with the possibility of drinking related problems, the effect of heat and other health issues typical of festivals.
Australian Meats.
Posted in Uncategorized on May 27, 2009 by loamsdown17Major provider of the food which will be mainly barbequed will be the ‘Australian Meats’ company.
They provide traditonal maeats like beef, lamb and pork as well as exotic Austrlian meats like Kangaroo and Emu.
Triple M.
Posted in Uncategorized on May 27, 2009 by loamsdown17Major radio sponsor will be triple M, generally cover a range of rock music young, old, and alternative.
Rockstar.
Posted in Uncategorized on May 14, 2009 by loamsdown17A lot of big events have an energy drink sponsor, instead of going for one of the giants I thought i’d go a little smaller; the name and logo are pretty wicked as well.
Rockstar energy drink.
FOSTERS.
Posted in Uncategorized on May 14, 2009 by loamsdown17A symbol associated with australia.
Fosters will be the main sponsor. The company also produces a wide range of Australian and non-Australian beers; providing more variety.
“Fosters” or “Fosters Festival” is currently the leading idea for the name!
Sticky Date Pudding.
Posted in Uncategorized on May 13, 2009 by loamsdown17Dates!
Dates relevant to the theme of the festival.
Australia day
Anzac day
New years eve / day
Boxing day
Problems!
Big Day Out usually falls on australia day.
A major celebration seems inappropriate for a day as profound as anzac day.
New years eve or new years day could work, plays in nicely throughout the night if it were a new years eve thing, although like australia day there are existing festivals.
Boxing day, got the test, but that can only attract a fixed amount, once again the showing of the cricket could play nicely into the hands of the festival.
Weather should be considered, the season in which these days fall. If none of the mentioned are deemed appropriate a date can be set aside, it will belong solely to the festival.
THAT IS STILL YET TO BE NAMED =(
